Jamie Lee Curtis is celebrating her 50th birthday early by shedding off her top and posing on a magazine's front cover. The "scream queen" actress has posed grey-haired and topless on the cover of American Association of Retired Persons magazine's May issue.

Curtis, who won't be celebrating her birthday until November, says her picture reflects her new understanding of beauty and aging.

Jamie Lee Curtis feels she failed as a mother because she put her work first. The "Halloween" star - who has two adopted children, 20-year-old Anne and 10-year-old Thomas with her actor husband Baron Christopher Haden Guest - has confessed she put her acting before her children.

Michael Vale, best known as the "Time to make the doughnuts" guy on the popular Dunkin Doughnuts ads is dead at the age of 83.

According to his son-in-law, Vale died Saturday in New York of complications stemming from diabetes.
