Tom Sizemore wept to a Los Angeles judge to spare him from jail during one of his court appearances. It seems that Superior Court Judge Cynthia Rayvis has come to a compromise with the star.
On June 24, Judge Rayvis sentenced Tom to 16 months behind bars after he violated probation when he was arrested with methamphetamines in his car in May.
Now, she has significantly reduced his sentence, cutting it in less than half because of time he has already spent behind bars and in drug programs. According to Deputy District Attorney Sean Carney, the "Saving Private Ryan" star will only serve half of the time in jail.
The 45-year-old has been in jail since June 5. Tom had starred in a VH1 reality show about his battle with drugs before his latest arrest.
