Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes held a star-studded housewarming party on Saturday night.

The Hollywood couple moved into their new $35 million Beverly Hills mansion last month and invited a host of A-list stars to help them celebrate. Guests included Eva Longoria, Oprah Winfrey, Kirstie Alley, Brooke Shields, Jennifer Lopez and Victoria Beckham.

The bash was held both indoors and outdoors and partygoers were treated to canapes and champagne, served by uniformed staff.

They then had a formal sit-down dinner, which took place outside under a giant black tent covering the entire front of the estate alongside a large rectangular fountain. Guests were entertained by a full orchestra, who played big-band music throughout the night.

Tom and Katie's two-year-old daughter Suri was also at the party along with the actor's two adopted children, Isabella, 15, and 13-year-old Connor, from his marriage to Nicole Kidman.

The couple purchased the 1.3-acre estate last summer and spent a year on renovations.
