TomKat hosted their post-wedding party on Saturday night in their hometown. The couple organized the event for friends who were unable to attend the ceremony last month.
Guests were invited to enjoy a lavish party - estimated to have cost $400,000 - held at the Beverly Hills home of the actor's producing partner Paula Wagner, and her husband, Rick Nicita.
Steven Spielberg, Oliver Stone, Orlando Bloom, James Van Der Beek, Diane Sawyer, Larry King and Tom's ex Penélope Cruz were among the guests, as well as J.Lo and Marc Anthony who also attended the wedding in Rome.
E! reports that Oprah - who was said to be disappointed at not being invited to the wedding, was left off the guest list again - while John Travolta - who was invited to the wedding but failed to attend - was not seen at the party either.
Police cordoned off the neighborhood shortly before the party began and threatened waiting photographers with citation if they blocked the streets.
Guests began to arrive at 6 p.m. and TomKat arrived at 6:40 p.m. with daughter Suri in a fleet of tinted-window black SUVs. The "Mission Impossible" stars children with Nicole Kidman, Connor and Isabella, followed in a Bentley.
Many of the guests arrived in chauffeur driven Porsches and Bentleys but "Lord of the Rings" star Orlando chose to drive himself in a yellow VW Beetle.
Guests partied in marquees which had been put up to shelter them from the evening's rainfall.
Katie's new best friend Victoria Beckham, who attended the wedding, was not seen arriving at the party. However, she was in Los Angeles last week, styling Katie for a cover shoot for Harper's Bazaar magazine.
Sources from the photo shoot - which numbered over 300 people - said the production team were ordered not to look either Victoria or Katie in the eye, reports the New York Post.
