Critically-acclaimed actress Scarlett Johansson has reportedly signed her first record deal. It will be called "Scarlett Sings Tom Waits, " featuring a whole album of songs by Tom Waits, one of the top singer-songwriters in the business. It is being recorded now till the winter, to be set for a spring release coordinating with Johansson's movie schedule.

Sources claim that unlike other pop stars, Johansson, 22, can actually really sing and she has a lovely, whispery voice that complements Waits' lyrics.
