Tom Sizemore's pleas for a second chance have fallen on deaf ears.
The actor wept to a Los Angeles judge, begging for mercy after he was found violating probation. The troubled star was arrested when methamphetamines were found in his car. He has been on probation for previous drug related issues.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Cynthia Rayvis, sentenced the 45-year-old actor to 16 months in jail. He will serve his time in the R.J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego because of its acclaimed drug treatment program.
Judge Rayvis told the court that Tom, "abused the privilege of probation" and "needs to be in a lockdown setting."
The "Saving Private Ryan" star still has charges to face and could be sentenced for up to six years behind bars. Tom has previously served time, after he was found guilty of domestic violence against ex-girlfriend, Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.
