Katie Holmes has been absent from cinema screens since marrying Tom Cruise.
Despite having one of the most powerful Hollywood players at her disposal, Katie has chosen to play the role of her life in private - motherhood. However, Tom is planning to use his power to his wife's advantage and ensure that she gets only the best roles available.
According to reports, "Mission Impossible" star Tom is setting up a production house that will purely serve Katie and her creative desires.
A source told The Daily Express newspaper, "Kate is a little disillusioned with acting at the moment, especially as she's taken to being a mother so wholeheartedly. She's not interested by many of the roles she is being offered so Tom has stepped in with some ideas of his own."
Under the new production company, Tom will make films for the stunning former "Dawson's Creek" star to act in. He will even appear in some of the films himself, something he did with former wife Nicole Kidman on three separate occasions.
The insider continued, "He has one project he wants both of them to star in and another he will produce with Katie in the lead. He wants to build a whole production company around her."
Tom has also taken over the reigns at the United Artists studio.
