Pool parties, bunny costumes, a silk dressing gown and Tom Cruise - this scenario may soon be a reality.
The A-list actor is reported at the top of the list to play Hugh Hefner in a biopic about his life - which is considered legendary to men around the world.
Cruise, who is happily married to Katie Holmes, is allegedly excited about the prospect of surrounding himself with silicone and martinis.
A Cruise insider revealed, "Tom knows of Hugh's colorful past and thinks he would be the perfect person to bring it to the big screen. He also thinks the role would be a challenge for him, and would remind people of his versatility as an actor. At the moment people are concentrating on his personal life, and his marriage to Katie - but he wants to remind them that he can act too."
However, Cruise may have some competition. Rumors in Hollywood also point to Leonardo DiCaprio to play the soft porn founder.
DiCaprio, who was last seen on the big screen in "Blood Diamond", is a frequent visitor to the Playboy Mansion and has reportedly had some hands on training throughout his career to portray the controversial Hefner.
