Tobey Maguire and his wife Jennifer Meyer are at the center of a pregnancy riddle.
The couple - who already have a 17-month-old daughter Ruby - are reportedly set to welcome their second child in early October.
A source told In Touch Weekly magazine: "Jennifer and Tobey are over the moon happy. Since they already have a daughter, they would love a little boy, but of course they would be just as thrilled with another daughter."
Jennifer, 31, is said to be enjoying a smooth pregnancy.
The source added: "Jennifer's doing great. She had an easy pregnancy last time around, so this time it should also be a breeze."
However, the couple - who wed last September - have issued a swift denial via their representative, who stated: "This is 100 percent false."
