Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter are expecting their second child together.
The couple, who are currently on vacation in Italy with their three-year-old son Billy Raymond Burton, are said to be thrilled with the news.
Helena's representative, Karon Maskill, said: "They are very happy to be expecting their second child later this year." The baby is due in December.
The couple are currently filming horror musical 'Sweeney Todd' together. Tim is directing the project, while Helena stars opposite Johnny Depp.
The couple first worked together when Tim, 48, directed Helena in the 2001 remake of 'Planet of the Apes.' They live in two neighboring terraced houses in North London with an adjoining door but very different decor.
Helena, 41, recently said: "Mine is Beatrix Potter and his is James Bond."
The Oscar nominated actress is currently starring as the evil Bellatrix Lestrange in 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.'
