British singer Amy Winehouse has caused a stir in the U.K after she was pictured with white powder around her nostrils.
The "Rehab" singer, who has created an image of being a wild, alcohol loving jazz singer, won the Brit Award for best female at last weeks ceremony.
Arriving at the exclusive after party in London, held by "Oasis" brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, the singer was pictured with a mysterious white powdery substance around her nose.
A source told News Of The World newspaper, "It was late and Amy was totally off her face, but somehow she still had loads of energy. She was jiggling around and whistling to herself. When she got in the cab she started wiping her nose furiously."
A close friend of the stars added to the tabloid, "Everyone knows Amy's one of the biggest caners on the scene at the moment, but if she's getting into Class-As, it's bad news."
The bad girl of British pop music has previously denied using cocaine. However she has admitted to "dabbling" in other illegal drugs.
She said, "I was doing a few drugs but only dabbling. Cocaine isn't really my thing."
Winehouse has even defended her drunken image by blaming photographers for capturing the moment.
She recently said, "What is different is that people take pictures of me when I'm hammered so I don't get away with it. But I have so little time with my friends these days that when I do get a chance to go out with them I don't want to get so out of my pram that I can't remember it the next day."
While the British press erupts with a new drug scandal, giving Pete Doherty a day's grace, Winehouse's father is not concerned.
He said, "I don't worry about it because she's told me she doesn't take it."
It seems that everyone besides the sexy-voiced singer and her family is concerned.
A friend quipped to News Of The World, "Amy loves the line in "Rehab" where she sings, 'They tried to make me go to rehab, but I said no, no, no.' Now we just hope she decides to change her tune - for her own sake."
Winehouse beat fellow Brit bad girl Lily Allen to be named best female which lead to a row between the rivals.
According to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, a source said, "Someone asked if she [Lily] was all right and she said she'd had a bust-up with Amy Winehouse."
