Actress Helen Mirren is set to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with royalty.
Dame Helen, the star of Oscar-nominated film "The Queen," has been invited to meet Britain's Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace.
The 61-year-old actress - who portrays Her Majesty in the hit movie - will attend a lunch at the London palace along with screenwriter Peter Morgan and director Stephen Frears.
Peter told US film magazine Fade In, "We have been invited to meet her. The queen's private secretary has invited us for lunch - Stephen, Helen and myself. I gather that means she might pop in."
The BAFTA and Golden Globe-winning playwright also confessed he was not sure if the queen had even watched the film.
He added, "I don't know if she has seen the film herself, or if someone else told her it was all right."
Mirren has been nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her role in the film which focuses on a fictional interpretation of how the British Royal Family reacted to the death of Princess Diana in 1997.
The film has also been nominated for the Best Film Oscar, and the winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony in Los Angeles this Sunday.
