Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has a crush on Hollywood actor George Clooney.

The red-haired duchess - who has two children with her ex-husband Britain's Prince Andrew - confessed the 'Ocean's Eleven' star would be her perfect man, but admitted she is not his usual type.

Speaking on BBC Radio 2, she said: "George Clooney is so good looking - he's lovely!"

"The thing is that these men all go for wonderful, young, blonde women, don't they?"

The 48-year-old - who recently launched the 'Helping Hand' series of children's books, to help young people deal with a variety of issues - also revealed the secret to her successful relationship with Andrew is the "three Cs".

She said: "Communication, compromise and compassion is how I remain such good friends with Andrew. To me those three C's are huge."

Andrew recently spoke of his regret that his marriage to Sarah ended in divorce in 1996, adding he was disappointed he was not able to celebrate his 60th wedding anniversary like his parents Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

He said: "Sadly, I haven't been able to live up to that quite as much as my parents have. But I still have worked in my own way at that partnership, because I believe fundamentally that the family is the most important thing in life."

Andrew and Sarah have two teenage daughters, 19-year-old Princess Beatrice and 17-year-old Princess Eugenie.
