David Hasselhoff wished he had a knife and fork to eat the burger he was videoed devouring while drunk.
The "Baywatch" star's only regret about the now infamous footage showing him inebriated and rolling around shirtless on a hotel floor eating a burger, is that he did not follow correct eating etiquette.
British journalist Piers Morgan claims his fellow "America's Got Talent" judge told him: "I just wish I'd used a knife and fork to eat that [bleep] burger."
Morgan described 'The Hoff' as a "survivor," saying he is "already seeing the funny side of his video," which was filmed by Hasselhoff's 16-year-old daughter Taylor-Ann.
Hasselhoff exhibited his self-deprecating sense of humor to the "America's Got Talent" studio audience at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood Theatre on Wednesday.
The actor joked before the show: "Anybody know where I can get a hamburger?"
Morgan, a former newspaper editor, also revealed his "good friend" has a "massive ego" and "engages in endless self-aggrandizing."
He added in his diary for Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "I sit next to him in the make-up trailer, and he is bordering on the obsessive about his personal appearance. His ego is massive, there's no other word for it. Barely a day's filming goes by when he doesn't allude to 'Baywatch' and 'Knight Rider' being 'the biggest TV shows ever' or to the 'nine million albums I've sold in Germany.'
However, Morgan did conclude his 54-year-old pal was simply "an insecure man who just wants to be loved."
