David Hasselhoff has reportedly been awarded full custody of his two children.

The outcome comes just weeks after one of the "Baywatch" star's daughter filmed her father intoxicated, laying on a floor and eating a hamburger. A Los Angeles Superior Court has ruled that recovering alcoholic David is a fitter parent than his ex-wife, Pamela Bach.

The former couple have been in the process of a messy divorce and a fight for custody over their two teenage daughters. According to TMZ, a psychological evaluation on the Hasselhoff family determined that David is the better choice to parent.

The celebrity website also reported that The Hoff's case revolved around claims that Pamela was physically abusive to her children, especially youngest child Hayley.

The actor's lawyer, Melvin Goldsman, told Access Hollywood that the star was "very happy the truth came out today."

Pamela was represented by Debra Opri, the same attorney who defended Larry Birkhead during his paternity case.

According to Hollyscoop, there will be another hearing in two weeks to finalise the custody decision.
