Damon Wayans may be known as the funny guy, but he's definitely not laughing if somebody tries to get the actor to watch a scary movie.
The stand-up comedian says ever since watching "The Exorcist" as a child he's been royally messed up in the head. Damon insists he's never been able to watch any other horror movies after his first and last traumatizing fright.
The actor said in an interview with Starpulse, "When I was a little boy, they showed it in a church in New York at an after-school program, and it messed me up."
The 46-year-old says he has enough stress as it is in his daily life. He insists he doesn't need to be watching any scary movies to shake up his nerves even more.
He added, "To this day I don't see scary movies. I'm scared enough of life, I don't want to be worried by anything else."
The 1970s movie stars Linda Blair as a demonically possessed child. Stuff magazine recently named the horror flick as the "Scariest Film Ever."
