After his unfortunate death, we knew that little Bindi would carry on her beloved father's legacy, and now the eight-year-old is bringing some of dad's wild life work to the States.
Steve Irwin's widow Terri and her young daughter will take to the U.S. stage to continue his work.
Terri and daughter Bindi are set to appear in two special G'Day USA shows in January to promote Australian tourism.
Terri admitted, "They are kind of bittersweet events because Steve and Bindi were going to be promoting Australia together."
The Crocodile Hunter's widow will be joined by the Australia Zoo Croc Men dancers, Australia Zoo director Wes Mannion, zoo animals and The Wiggle's children's group.
Bindi will make her first U.S. stage appearance in the shows, which are scheduled for Los Angeles on January 14 and New York on January 20.
Terri revealed, "Bindi has a real understanding of how much work goes into a stage performance or something on TV. She's got the X factor like Steve did."
Steve's final project, "Ocean's Deadliest," will air in January and Terri says it will be a fitting final tribute to him.
Terri said, "It's important for people to get to see what he was doing. It's a wonderful insight into what his last trip was. He lived life to the fullest."
The 42-year-old says that three months after the tragic death of her animal loving husband, she is still struggling to come to terms with her grief.
She said, "Some days I lay on the floor and cry and other times I hold my head up. It's a one-day-at-a-time issue, and I think everyone who deals with tragedy knows you definitely ebb and flow."
Steve died after being stabbed through the heart by a stingray barb while filming a documentary near Australia's Great Barrier Reef on September 4.

I wished that Croc hunter never died too.It takes lots of guts what he has done, people like Bill Maher who only knows how to critize and make fun of the croc hunter are among those people who only knows how to point fingers on others which is very easy and which the people are good at, but it takes a character to appreciated someone.Most of the people who have critized Irwin.i think they are not close to what he is and what he has done not even half of what he has done, so i think people dont have right to critize anyone, but look into themselves. First and foremost my thoughts and prayers are with the Irwin family. I saw Terry and Bindi on the talk shows and I am in awe of the strenth and courage they both have. I too had a loss many years ago, I never opened a photo album without crying and feeling that whole in my heart for my beloved son. After listening to Bindi I opened that album after 8 years and my tears were there but of good memories. THANK YOU BOTH FOR SHOWING ME THAT A SMILE AND A MEMORY IS FAR BETTER THAN THAT BLACK HOLE IN MY HEART.
