There's always "the one" who gets away and, for Tara Reid, it was former MTV VJ Carson Daly.
The blonde actress recently said things would have been much different if she had married Carson. She admits she was completely in love with the former host of "TRL" and says he would have been the man to put an end to her drunken, sloppy partying, behavior.
The couple dated for two years and were engaged before they split in 2001.
According to Hollywood.com, Tara said in a recent TV interview that she would have been an elated mommy by now if she had just chosen to settle down with Carson, once and for all. She admits that her life would have probably taken a turn for the better.
She said, "Well yeah, if I would have married Carson, I'd probably have kids by now... I wouldn't have had all that crazy partying. My life would have been completely different."
However, she's not looking back and feeling sorry for herself. Okay, who are we kidding, maybe she is, but we can't help slightly - kind of - feel sorry for her too.
"Miss Party Thang" says she has since moved on from her failed romance with the blue-eyed California boy but admits he will always have a place in her heart.
She added, "But, you know what? If that was meant to happen, it would have... but I've never loved anyone the way I loved him."
