Hollywood party girl and actress Tara Reid admits that she is now becoming a huge soccer fan thanks in part to David Beckham's move to Los Angeles and England's Chelsea soccer team.
The "American Pie" star was on hand during the pre-game party Saturday before Beckham's new team, the Los Angeles Galaxy, took on Chelsea on the soccer field in a friendly match.
Tara said: "I did a movie in Spain during the World Cup last year, so I learned a lot about it."
"It isn't really a popular sport in America but I think it is going to be a lot bigger."
According to soccer fans and sporting experts, Beckham's arrival to Southern California is set to raise the profile of the world's most popular sport in the United States. Meanwhile, Chelsea is in California on a pre-season tour.
