Former supermodel Niki Taylor is suing E! Entertainment after they repeatedly aired a program about her after she requested it be taken off the schedule.
Taylor, who found fame posing for Sports Illustrated magazine, is featured in an episode of the E! Network's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," which is described as showcasing, "a place between heaven and Hollywood, dreams turn tragic and fame goes sour fast."
Taylor claims that she was portrayed as someone who has lost and she disagrees.
The model has filed a federal slander lawsuit against the entertainment company, citing intentional infliction of emotional distress caused by the program.
According to CNN, the stunning blonde is also accusing the celebrity television network of fraud, breach of contract and invasion of privacy.
While Taylor has experienced hardships in the past, including a near fatal car accident in 2001, court documents say the agreement was to showcase her present life, which includes a fragrance, clothing line, upcoming cosmetics line and charitable foundation.
In a statement, Taylor said, "My life is far from a 'boulevard of broken dreams.'"
Legal documents state, "They neglected their journalistic obligations to report truthfully and accurately; they violated express promises they made to the plaintiff, supermodel Niki Taylor; and they demonstrated a reprehensible disregard for the substantial harm their actions would cause to Ms. Taylor."
Taylor has asked for the show to be taken off the air immediately.
