Actor Brandon Routh, 28, who got his big break playing Clark Kent in 2006's "Superman Returns," wed longtime girlfriend, actress Courtney Ford according to People magazine.
The couple met four years ago when Routh was working as a bartender at Hollywood's Lucky Strike bowling alley, and the "Superman" star proposed in August 2006.
Routh proposed while promoting "Superman Returns," and the couple was able to keep the wedding news out of the spotlight until Routh was finished with his press tour.
"She brings me to my knees," Routh told People when the couple broke the news in January.
Ford, 29, has appeared in several television shows including episodes of "Moesha" and "Ugly Betty." The bride wore a Junko Yoshika gown during the ceremony at the El Capitan Ranch in Santa Barbara.
Routh has several film projects coming up in 2008, and will get ready to reprise his role as the man of steel in the upcoming "Superman" sequel, which is tentatively scheduled for 2009.
The new "Superman: The Man of Steel" will bring back actors Kevin Spacey and Kate Bosworth, as well as director Bryan Singer.
