Mariah Carey, Kanye West and John Legend are set to sweep the board at the Grammy Awards - after being nominated for eight awards each.

Mariah, up for Best Album with 'The Emancipation of Mimi' as well as Best Song for her hit ballad 'We Belong Together', said she was thrilled with her string of nominations. She told MTV: "It's truly amazing and I'm really blessed to be making the music I love."
