Steve-O, the star of "Jackass," has checked himself back into a mental institution after living sober for 115 days.

The former MTV star, 33, has written on his blog that after watching himself on Dr. Drew's Celebrity Addiction Special he wants "to explain a little bit of what I've been going through since I got clean, to help some of you understand how much damage drugs and alcohol have really done to me."

"Jackass" star Steve-O has transferred from rehab to a mental hospital, he reveals on his blog.

The TV stuntman, real name Stephen Glover, has checked into a mental ward in Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. This move comes after he had spent time in a narcotics program at a rehabilitation center to treat his drug demons.

Daredevil performer Steve-O is being sued for assault and battery by a doorman his bodyguard allegedly punched last year.

According to the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, doorman Roland Cano claims that he was at his post for Kitson during Paris Hilton's clothing line launch in August 2007.

New damaging photographs featuring Steve-O while he was snorting a white powder substance have been published.

The Jackass star, who is currently treated in a Los Angeles clinic for depression and substance abuse, appears in tabloid National Enquirer inhaling a suspicious stuff that seems like cocaine from a woman's leg. The pictures were apparently taken earlier this year.

Steve-O, the star of "Jackass," missed his March 26 court date and forfeited $10,000 bail. The star missed the court date because he has been hospitalized for the past two weeks at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He voluntarily checked himself into the hospital.

According to Steve-O's lawyer Barry Sands, the troubled prankster decided not to leave the hospital to attend his court hearing on felony cocaine charges on Wednesday, but will attend the next one.

Steve-O was admitted to a psychiatric ward at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center last week over fears he was suicidal, and Chris believes it was only a matter of time before his close friend had to seek help for his mental wellbeing.
