Steve Irwin had saved his father's life from suicide, dad Bob has revealed. The late wildlife expert had told the elder Irwin he would also take his own life if his dad decided to do so. In an interview in an Australian TV program, Bob, 68, has narrated how he had grieved over his wife Lynn when she died during a 2000 car accident. He was so miserable that he decided to drive his truck and head to the "special spot" that he'd shared with Lynn and Steve in the past, Australia's The Age newspaper reports.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree for "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin's son. The late crocodile wrangler's son, Robert, was recently bitten by a baby boa constrictor and wasn't fazed by the experience. According to the Associated Press, Irwin's widow Terri and her children Bindi and Robert were making an appearance at FAO Schwarz when Terri announced that Robert had bitten by a baby boa constrictor.

Bindi Irwin, the daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, is refusing any movie deals that include leaving her native Australia. Her manager John Stainton released a statement that the girl will stay at the Queensland zoo founded by her dad. With all of the offers presented to the nine-year-old khaki-wearing environmentalist, none outside the U.S. would be accepted.

Natalie Portman was one of many celebrities that participated in the naming of 23 highly endangered baby mountain gorillas in a Rwandan wildlife park on June 30. The baby gorillas were not removed from their natural habitat. For that reason children wearing costumes were representing the babies at the ceremony.

It has been just over six months since Steve Irwin tragically passed away and his widow Terri says that she is still struggling with the adjustment. The American-born, Australian-based mother of two escorted her daughter, Bindi, to the "Nickelodeon 20th Annual Kids Choice Awards". She told PEOPLE, "It's extremely difficult. Part of me is still waiting for the day that he walks through the door."

Steve Irwin's widow, Terri, is still waiting for the late "Crocodile Hunter" to come home and "walk through the door." The 42-year-old widow is struggling to come to terms with the death of the Australian conservationist, who was killed last September aged just 44.
