ABC's "The View" appears to falling apart at every turn. Insiders reveal that original "Dreamgirls" star Sheryl Lee Ralph may be replacing Star Jones, and Meredith Vieira may be replacing Katie Couric if she leaves NBC's "Today."

The skinny (no pun intended) is that Star is about to get the boot because of her "abrasive" antics. Star's ABC contract expires in August, and no word yet on whether "the powers that be" will be ready to endure another contract negotiation with her.

There appears to be trouble in paradise between "The View" co-host Star Jones and hubby Al Reynolds over rumors of his questionable sexuality. Insiders reveal the couple's recent public squabble has led everyone close the couple believe the 15-month marriage is practically in ruins.

Star didn't help to fan the flames by showing up on "The View" wearing her wedding ring on the wrong hand. Usually that means you married the wrong man!

Rumors are swirling in Hollywood that a falling star is on the horizon. Talk show host Star Jones may soon be asked to leave ABC's "The View." Sources say executives for the daytime show are secretly interviewing other celebrities to replace her.

"The producers are looking for someone to take over for Star who will blend in with the other co-hosts," a show insider revealed. "They want someone who will jump into the conversation with their own viewpoint but not be so combative and stubborn as Star has been over the years."

Star says that she was her heaviest at 250 lbs and was desperate to find a man. "I wanted to find someone who would be my life mate," Jones writes. "I knew I had to work on myself, make Star ready for him."
