| Newly hired Rosie O'Donnell will have to pass on a buzz cut if she intends to collect the $2 million paycheck as the new co-host of the talk show "The View." Rosie is to replace Meredith Vieira on the show, and was told she'll have to keep her hair long if she wants to remain on "The View"'s with Barbara Walters, Star Jones, Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. | |
| Rumor has it that since Rosie O'Donnell officially joining "The View," Star Jones may be on her way out. Sources close to the show reveal that Star felt she should be the moderator, following in Meredith Vieira's footsteps, but the executive producer of the show, Barbara Walters, isn't about to let that happen. "You can't even mention Star's name around Barbara," reveals the source. "She hates her. Really can't stand her." Barbara gave a backhanded dis to Star in an interview about the brewing beef between Rosie and Star. "The only concern would be Star's," said Barbara. "If Star wants to continue to be there, she is welcome." | | | |
| Although Star Jones has downplayed the complications that ensued from having a breast lift, a 911 has surfaced that seems to indicate how close she may have come to dying while having the procedure. The frantic 911 call came from a medic at Pacific Surgery Center in Santa Monica, California who reportedly said, "We have a patient who is on our surgery table, who we cannot stop from bleeding." The call was said to have been made at 4:56 pm on March 17, and immediately transferred to emergency services, who rushed to Star's aid. | |
| Actress Rosie O'Donnell has put talk show host Star Jones Reynolds in her place for revealing to the public private information about her recent breast lift operation, but keeping under wraps how she lost so much weight. Star's well publicized weight loss of 150 pounds over the past two years has been the topic of much speculation, but Star will only say the weight loss started following a "medical intervention." | |
| Talk show diva Star Jones Reynolds finally admits that she succumbed to the lure of plastic surgery. Star confirmed to reporters that she has had a breast lift. Star is said to have had the operation at the end of last week, but ended up at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica after complications arose. | |
