An Australian court has learned that Sylvester Stallone arrived in the country with growth enhancing drugs.
The action star denied he had brought steroids into the country when he arrived in February for a promotional trip for his film "Rocky Balboa."
However, during a routine x-ray of his luggage, five boxes of Jintropin, a drug used as a human growth hormone which can assist body builders, were foumd. The drug has also been linked to anti-aging use.
Under Australian law, growth hormones require a permit to enter the country.
The Sydney judge was told Stallone answered "no" on customs documents asking if he was carrying restricted goods, "such as medicines, steroids, firearms, weapons, or any kind of illicit drugs."
If found guilty of bringing Jintropin into Australia, Stallone faces a $22,000 fine.
