Sylvester Stallone has been allowed to leave Australia amid an investigation into the contents of his luggage.
The action star entered the country and was questioned by Customs officials when a routine baggage x-ray found that he had packed some questionable items.
Australian customs offices refused to confirm what Stallone had bought into the country, but it is rumored to be illegal body-building drugs.
A Customs spokesperson told AAP, "The investigation is ongoing and we are aware of Mr Stallone's travel movements."
The actor was Down Under promoting the sixth - and last - installment of the "Rocky" franchise and promoting his next film, a new "Rambo" film.
Stallone, who is recycling the roles that made him famous in a bid to stay in Hollywood, is set to star in "Rambo 4: Pearl of the Cobra".
The muscle man joked about his airport experience while at the Sydney premier of "Rocky". The star joked to reporters that he had a "giant cheetah" in his bag and concluded that the incident was, "Just a misunderstanding."
Stallone had no bad words to say about the airport security workers. He added, "It was just a minor misunderstanding. They were just doing their jobs. I just didn't understand some of the rules here."
Customs officials were just as respectful to the movie star, saying that Stallone and his entourage were, "fully co-operative" when questioned over the bags contents.
Stallone will leave Australia as scheduled but could be required to appear in court after the investigation. However, he may get off with a warning.
