Dr. Dre's son has died. Andre Young Jr., 20, was reported to be unresponsive when his mother Nicole Young checked on him at around 10 a.m. on Saturday, so she immediately called emergency services to her Woodland Hills house.

It is not yet known how Andre died, but toxicology tests are being carried out to determine the cause of death.

The wife of rapper Snoop Dogg has been arrested in California's Orange County. According to police reports, she was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Lt. Craig Brower, of the Fullerton police, said officers stopped Snoop Dogg's wife, Shante Broadus of Sherman Oaks, about 12:15 a.m. Saturday and took her to jail. She was cited and released, pending a court appearance.

Snoop Dogg has some advice for his friends Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles. The musical couple were married in April.

According to People.com, Snoop told them, "to go home and make babies. They should, that's the next step as far as marriage, having kids ... add on to the family, so hopefully that's what they'll do."

Pop star Jessica Simpson performed at Camp Pendleton for the troops Thursday night, but took some time to talk about her younger sister's wedding plans. Jessica's sister, Ashlee Simpson, is engaged to Pete Wentz of the Fall Our Boys.

Jessica performed for the troops wearing a skin-tight red top, jeans and black stiletto heels and sang songs such as "These Boots Are Made For Walkin.'" Also performing at the three-hour concert were celebrities such as Snoop Dogg, Janet Jackson, Ne-Yo and Pamela Anderson.
