They may be powerhouses in the world of rap and R&B, but P. Diddy and Snoop Dogg can't change laws to suit themselves.
The rappers have had to cancel their scheduled U.K. shows because Snoop is not permitted into the country.
Britain's Home Office refused to give the troubled musician a visa into the U.K., after a string of offenses with drugs and weapons. It is not the first time he has been denied entry into the land of tea and scones - it was a similar situation in May 2006.
According to reports, Snoop and Diddy are "incredibly disappointed" they are forced to scrap the shows, which are part of their joint European tour.
A tour spokesperson released a statement, saying, "Despite desperate attempts to have the One Love Peace Tour U.K. shows go ahead as planned and hoping the government would reconsider Snoop's visa in light of assurances made, the tour has been canceled. With late notice of Snoop being denied a visa, time has run out."
Snoop, who was given a limited travel visa to work in Australia earlier this year, is reported to have said, "All I can do is politely ask the Home Office to reconsider this. I can reach the kids with my mic that politicians cannot with their voices. I can tell them to stop the violence and killings that have been happening in the U.K."
Despite the please from those involved, lawyers have failed to change the Home Office decision. Tickets will be reimbursed.
