Simple Life Goes From Bad To Worse For Paris, Parents Visit Her In Jail

With news that her career could be in tatters, it is understandable that Paris Hilton is upset.

In the past few weeks, the starlet has had to deal with news that she has been dropped by her record company, landed in jail and then back in jail.

In fact, sources say "The Simple Life" star is so distraught by her current residence, jail, that she has been put on suicide watch.

A prison guard reportedly said, "She's a train wreck. She's sullen and despondent."

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old star's parents made their first visit to Los Angeles Count Jail's medical wing on June 12 to show their support. Rick and Kathy Hilton were swamped by the paparazzi when they arrived at the prison to see their eldest child. Upon leaving, the parents did not comment on Paris' current state, but Kathy told TMZ, "It is what it is."

Paris still has two weeks to serve on her prison sentence for violating probation.
