Shia LaBeouf is bidding his way to sobriety. The Transformers star is reportedly attending Alcoholics Anonymous classes to transform himself from getting addicted to booze.
The 21-year-old actor has vowed to quit drinking after he was arrested in November for misdemeanor criminal trespassing at a Chicago pharmacy after refusing to leave. Although the charges were dropped in December, LaBeouf apparently decided to truly end his drinking habit.
"Shia decided to make good use of his time off during the writers strike by dedicating 60 days to getting his two-month sobriety chip," a source has been quoted by the National Enquirer.
"He's been spending time at A.A. talking with people, drinking coffee and learning the twelve steps."
LeBeouf had been known for his role in the Disney Channel series Even Stevens and starred in the critically and commercially acclaimed 2006 film Disturbia. He is due to appear in Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
