Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has rejected allegations made by the wife of a U.K.-based businessman that she was responsible for her split with her husband. According to local media reports, the 32-year-old actress has even warned Kavita Kundra to stop tainting her image or face legal action.
"If she continues to tarnish my name out of any insecurity or otherwise, I will consider taking legal action as I see no reason why my name is being dragged into this mess" she told ZEE news.
The legal threat comes just two days after Kavita accused the Celebrity Big Brother star of breaking up her marriage.
However, Shetty claimed that the marriage between Kavita and Raj Kundra was already over when she met him in a business capacity.
"I am disgusted by her reported comments and completely refute the allegation," Shilpa said.
Raj Kundra is the licenser of the perfume, The beauty of S2, which Shetty launched three months ago.
