It's Jennifer Aniston who dumped Brad Pitt and not the other way around, Sheryl Crow reveals. The "All I Wanna Do" singer insists that like her, Aniston is thought to be the one who was dumped, which she assures is not true.
The 46-year-old musician says she had bonded with the former "Friends" actress after they had both ended their relationship with their men and that the myth that Pitt left Aniston for Angelina Jolie is simply just a fallacy.
She insists, "For both of us, the perceived idea is that, in our big relationships, we both got dumped. Believe me this is not true." Crow had split with cyclist Lance Armstrong in 2006.
"Neither one of use has ever gotten dumped. No one ever knows what goes on in relationships. Unfortunately, for some people like Jennifer and me, so much is written about things that you don't say, and so many emotions are attributed to you that you haven't had."
An insider has supported Crow's claims telling National Enquirer, "Once Jen saw the writing on the wall, she dumped Brad. She took a cold, hard look at her marriage and realized it was irretrievably broken."
"She and Brad had vastly different personal agendas and feelings about love, career, and having a family."
