If the doll doesn't match, the event's not going to be a smash, at least not according to one Hollywood star.

Sharon Stone was definitely not a happy camper over the weekend when a Barbie doll didn't meet her expectations. The "Basic Instinct" star recently left a children's AIDS charity fuming after throwing a tantrum over the unrecognizable doll.

Sharon agreed to be honored at a benefit in Santa Monica on Saturday night for the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation. At the event, she had initially agreed for a number of Barbie dolls made in her image to be auctioned off.

According to the New York Post, the 48-year-old blonde actress "flipped out" when she saw the Barbie toy manufacturers Mattel had made, raging that it looked nothing like her.

Sharon refused to attend the benefit, and instead went to the star-studded Carousel of Hope ball.

Her representative, Cindi Berger, said, "That is absolutely correct. The doll didn't look anything like her. She was never committed to going."

Unbelievable, I say. Dolls are hardly ever a mirror image of the person or character that they are supposed to represent. Stone's little tantrum is an embarrasment.
