The show "Dancing With the Stars" has been known to start a relationship or two. Now speculation is running high on dance partners Shannon Elizabeth and professional dancer Derek Hough, especially after the two shared what looked like a kiss on the beach last week.

Host Samantha Harris asked the couple if they were in fact a couple after their dance this week. While waiting for the dance scores Hough joked around, but wouldn't give Harris a straight answer.

"Dancing With the Stars" professional dancer Derek Hough was hospitalized Tuesday with a neck injury suffered during a rehearsal. The dancer is paired this season with Shannon Elizabeth. The dancer, who is the brother of fellow "Dancing With the Stars" dancer Julianne Hough, was taken to a L.A. hospital for examination.

Derek was examined and kept for observation and later released, an ABC spokesperson said. They added that the injury did not appear to be serious.
