Lady Gaga and Kings of Leon have been nominated for five MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).

The singer and the band will both compete for Best Song, for 'Poker Face' and 'Use Somebody' respectively, Best Live Act and Best World Stage Performance, with Gaga also nominated for Best Female and Best New Act, while Kings of Leon are also up for the Best Group and Best Rock prizes.

Shakira only releases music that makes her hips sway. The "Hips Don't Lie" singer uses an unorthodox method to ensure her latest tracks reach her high pop standards - if they don't make her dance, she scraps them.

Shakira - who is famous for her shapely rear - explained: "I'm not a trained dancer. I did a little bit of gymnastics when I was 12 - everything else it's just me feeling the music. But I do have an unorthodox ways to approve my music or test it."

Shakira is desperate to "reproduce." The "Beautiful Liar" singer is certain her fiance Antonio de la Rua - the son of Argentina's former president Fernando de La Rua - is the "right person" to start a family with, and is planning to start trying for a baby as soon as possible.

The 32-year-old star said: "I constantly think about raising a family. I want to reproduce so bad! Antonio and I have been together for nine years and function as a married couple even though we're not married."

Shakira is desperate to become a mother.

The 'Hips Don't Lie' singer is keen to have children with fiancé Antonio de la Rua but says the couple don't have any plans to get married in the near future.

She said: "The fact is I'm not very traditionalist. We live together as husband and wife, we don't need anything to make it official, especially not for the paparazzi or magazines. Why fix things that aren't broken?

Jennifer Lopez was star struck when she met U.S. President-elect Barack Obama. The singer-and-actress attended the Latino Inaugural Gala in Washington, D.C. on Sunday evening and admitted Obama was the only person she was interested in meeting.

She said: "He is the biggest star here, even though it's chock-full of celebrities. The night he won the election, you could feel it in the air. I was watching him with tears in my eyes, thinking, 'Yes. Something is different. Something is happening.' We're very excited."
