Not all stars were able to drop their Hollywood commitments and jet over to Italy for TomKat's wedding so the newly weds are bringing the party to their friends.
Recently back from the storm-plagued honeymoon in The Maldives, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are now planning to continue their wedding celebrations in Los Angeles.
The party, to be held at Cruise's producing partner Paula Wagner's home, will take place on December 9.
However, according to People magazine, it is not all parties and social events for the couple.
Since arriving back to the U.S on December 1, Cruise has gone back to work. The actor and producer is relaunching United Artist Studio's with Wagner and MGM.
Holmes, however, has made her presence felt with the L.A. ladies who lunch set. Joining friend Victoria Beckham, who is in town for a photo shoot and reported house hunting, at the Sunset Marquis Hotel and Villas.
The BFF's reportedly gossiped about the lavish nuptials.
One source reports, "They talked about how great the wedding was."
