Britney Spears is back right where she belongs - in the recording studio. Producers J.R. Rotem and Sean Garrett confirm the pop star is back to record new tracks.

Rotem, whom Spears briefly dated last year, told People magazine, "She's great. She's like a master at what she does. She's a lot more experienced than most people. She just has the 'it' factor that not every artist has. So it's always nice to work with her."

Britney Spears' new single will be called 'Get Back'. The singer is said to preparing to release her first song since 2005 in the next few weeks and has a "surprising" new sound.

A source said: "It's a very new sound for her. I think people will be surprised."
