Donald Sutherland wrote to his son Kiefer "every other day" when the '24' star was in jail.

The 'Dirty Sexy Money' actor spoke to Kiefer - who was incarcerated last December for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) and violating probation - as often as possible but found it easier putting pen to paper.

Academy Award-winning actress and former fashion model Julia Roberts has been named the 22nd recipient of annual American Cinematheque award. The award will be presented at an Oct. 12 gala in Beverly Hills and its presentation will be aired on the AMC cable television network in December.

The 40-year-old actress was chosen unanimously by American Cinematheque's selection committee, Variety magazine reported.

Daniel Craig wants to make James Bond less macho and more comical. The British actor - whose tough portrayal of 007 in 'Casino Royale' was critically acclaimed - wants the next film to be inspired by former Bond star Roger Moore, who was famed for his wit and innuendo in the role.

He said: "There are going to be more gags. The next one's going to be a lot funnier. To me Bond has never been that macho. That Bond is something that Sean Connery created in 'Dr. No.'"

Some James Bond fans may be shaken and stirred to find out that Daniel Craig will leave the franchise.

The reluctant sexy spy has hinted that he will not play 007 for a long time. While former Bond's such as Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery saved the world numerous times, Daniel doesn't want to stay long enough to be typecast.
