Actor Scott Wolf and his wife, Kelley Wolf, are headed to China for a week. Scott, former "Party of Five" star, and Kelley, former "Real World" star, will go to China to participate in the Great Walk to Beijing to help raise awareness for breast cancer.
The subject of breast cancer is near and dear to the couple's heart. Scott told People.com that Kelley had a lumpectomy this year at the age of 31. He said, "Thankfully the tumor was benign, but we were reminded of the importance to stay aware and informed about breast health."
Last year Wolf's mother, Susan Levy, was diagnosed and successfully treated for breast cancer. Both of Kelley's grandmothers were diagnosed with breast cancer, too.
Scott said having breast cancer in the family has made Kelley an advocate for early detection and self exams.
The couple will join singer Olivia Newton-John for a week in China. Other celebrities participating in the walk include Leeza Gibbons, and Survivor stars Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca.
