Naomi Watts is still keeping mum, but her boyfriend has admitted he is excited by the prospect of fatherhood.

Liev Schreiber appeared on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" and confirmed what everyone already knew - Watts is pregnant.

The actor, who has been dating the Australian star since 2005, told O'Brien, "Yes, I'm going to be a dad."

Schreiber added that the news is, "very exciting."

While the couple have kept their little addition a secret, the cat was let out of the bag by filmmaker George Miller and the designer behind Watts' Oscar dress, Escada.

Both sources publicly confirmed the pregnancy after Watt's red carpet appearance at the Kodak Theatre.

Schreiber joked with O'Brien about the pregnancy, saying that he gave his girlfriend "grief" about attending the Academy Awards.

He said, "She said, 'No, no - it's a very auspicious thing that our embryo is going to be at the Oscars.'"

However, when it comes to giving their baby a unique Hollywood name, Schreiber says he is leaving the responsibility up to Watts.

He said, "I'm trying to stay out of it all. I'm trying not to make any decisions, [because] everything that I try to do in service of her or the coming baby is wrong. So I really don't even go to my house much anymore."

And will it be a little Liev Junior? Don't count on it.

The star concluded, "It's an awful name. It's probably the most oft-mispronounced name in showbiz."

The couple co-starred together in "The Painted Veil".
