Sarah Jessica Parker has a new hobby - knitting.
The stunning actress, who played stylish Carrie Bradshaw in hit show 'Sex and the City', relaxed during breaks in filming of new movie 'Spinning into Butter' by making garments out of wool.
An insider said: "As soon as shooting stops, Sarah's back to her knitting.
She's introducing other people to it - it's spreading like wildfire.'
The actress was introduced to the popular past-time by 'Sex and the City' co-star, and close friend, Kristin Davis.
Meanwhile, Parker has revealed she was so poor as a child - she didn't always get Christmas presents.
The stunning star says her parents had such a big family they struggled to make ends meet - so their children often went without gifts.
She revealed: "Not to pull at your heartstrings, but there weren't always presents when I was growing up.
"There were eight of us, so once you were old enough to know the truth about Santa, you graduated to wrapping presents for the babies."
