Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen have become parents for the first time. The 'Wedding Crashers' actress reportedly gave birth to a girl last week and both mother and baby are said to be doing well.
'Borat' star Sacha is "thrilled" with the new arrival and has been a hands-on dad since the birth. Isla and Sacha got engaged in 2004 although they are still to set a wedding date.
Australian Isla - who has converted to Judaism for Jewish Sacha - recently spoke of her joy at her pregnancy. The 31-year-old redhead said: "I feel great and I have never been happier. I am over the morning sickness part so I don't even want to talk about it any more."
Isla also said she wouldn't put herself under pressure to lose her baby weight, unlike many celebrity mothers. She said: "There is no way I am going to worry about missing out on work or the pressure to lose weight."
"At the moment I am not even planning any work. As far as I am concerned I am fully booked up in my personal life and I can't see beyond that."
"I plan on just coloring in books. I'll focus on that for the next few years."
Isla also hinted she had no plans to sell pictures of her baby because she and Sacha value their privacy.
She revealed: "I'm very careful to not talk about my private life and to not go to places were there are paparazzi. We're relatively anonymous and we're very grateful for that. It's really important for me to feel normal."
