Ryan Phillippe claims he has become a prisoner in his own home. The 'Cruel Intentions' actor - who endured a high-profile split from ex-wifeReese Witherspoon in 2006 - is considering quitting Los Angeles because heis constantly harassed by paparazzi.

He said, "I spend a lot of time just holed up in my house in Los Angeles.I'm thinking of leaving here because of that. I don't really go out becauseI know it's going to turn into a photo shoot."

Ex couple Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon have been fighting over their kids. The stars of 1999 film Cruel Intentions are both reportedly upset at each other despite sharing custody of the children.

Sources say that the 33-year-old actor is annoyed at the amount of time his kids with 31-year-old Witherspoon spend with their mom's new boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal.

Reese Witherspoon says being a single working mother is a constant battle. The 31-year-old actress, who has two children with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, struggles to balance her busy acting schedule and parental responsibilities.

Reese said: "Like every working parent, I sometimes feel that there are not enough hours in the day. But overall, I'm very fortunate that my job has a lot of flexibility. Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are reportedly getting married. Sources close to the two claim the Brokeback Mountain actor had proposed to the Legally Blonde actress during their vacation in Rome last October.

The ex-wife of Ryan Phillippe had declined the offer at that time because it came so soon after her separation. She has reportedly changed her mind and considered the proposal.

Jake Gyllenhaal has taken lover Reese Witherspoon's children hiking.

The couple took turns holding hands with the actress' two children - daughter Ava, eight, and four-year-old son Deacon - as they walked around a Malibu park on December 30.

Reese Witherspoon have only recently admitted that they are dating but don't expect any more big surprises from the ultra-private couple.

According to The National Enquirer magazine, Reese and Jake will not be announcing their engagement anytime soon as the Oscar winner recently turned down her boyfriends marriage proposal.
