The couple that suddenly made everybody believe in soul mates and in love everlasting are ready to take their relationship to the next level.
Reports say that Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams are more in love than ever and recently became engaged.
The Canadian hot couple - who transferred their onscreen romance in "The Notebook" to real life - are once again engaged after getting through a rough patch in their relationship.
An insider explained to Life & Style magazine that Ryan didn't "repropose" to his blonde sweetheart, instead "he and Rachel just agreed it was time to think about getting married again because they had worked out their problems."
The insider added, "Ryan says he's thrilled that Rachel is wearing her engagement ring again, which Ryan gave her early in 2005. It was always a secret engagement, and they will never confirm it publicly, but it's back on, and they're happy again, planning some family vacations together and doing the private-party rounds to support Ryan's role in Half Nelson."
It's also been claimed that the dreamy couple want to have a private wedding and may even consider eloping. The couple are also eager about starting a family.
The insider says Ryan has even thought the New Year's might be the best time to do it, saying "Ryan says they're looking for a good time to slip away and do it, and he's even said New Year's might be the perfect time for him and Rachel to make things permanent. Starting a family and sharing their lives together is so much more important to them than which magazine they can sell their wedding pictures to."
