Rumors About Kenny Chesney's Engagement Are Untrue

Rumors have been circulating recently that country singer Kenny Chesney is engaged. The country superstar is shooting down the engagement report.

According to People.com, Chesney's rep said, "Kenny Chesney is not getting married. He's not engaged. He's not planning on being engaged any time in the near future. In fact, he was surprised by the news and isn't sure how or why anyone would've gotten that idea."

Chesney, 40, recently told People.com that he enjoys being a bachelor. "I enjoy everything that comes along with it," he said.

Chesney recently won the entertainer of the year award at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.
