Rosie O'Donnell has kept her words to her self for once, however, the opinionated TV personality has made her views heard through a picture.
The star posted an image of her daughter, Vivi, on her website with a round of bullets slung around her shoulder. While Rosie later admitted that the bullets were fake, the picture has triggered outrage among her fans and for her to raise the issue of American soldiers of war again.
Rosie explained the pic to CBS, saying, "The kids pick a new costume from buycostumes.com every few weeks. They don't watch TV - this is how they play, the boys had fatigues and were playing war, the girls wanted some they run around the house with water guns, shooting each other."
Fans of Rosie's have responded on her official blog, posting messages to voice their concern that the little girl is permitted to play with such toys.
However, Rosie argued her decision, telling Show Buzz, "It's fascinating to me that an image of a child dressed up as a soldier evokes so much attention, yet the real soldiers - their deaths - their wounded bodies doesn't seem to faze most or make news."
Rosie left "The View" after having an on-air fight with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck about the soldiers in Iraq.
