Danny Noriega has accepted Rosie O'Donnell's invitation. The American Idol eliminated contestant has taken on the former "The View" co-host's offer to sing on one of her family cruises.

A video clip of the two appeared on O'Donnell's blog.

Former "American Idol" contestant Danny Noriega, who narrowly missed getting in the top 12, posted a YouTube video Monday that thanked his fans and talk show host Rosie O'Donnell. It was announced earlier that the video had been pulled from the YouTube site, but the clip does continue to air.

The clip shows the attitude-filled Noriega, who lept to fame during his "American Idol" run, talking and thanking his fans.

Rosie O'Donnell showed compassion to troubled star Britney Spears on her new blog entry Tuesday.

The former View cohost compared the pop princess to Princess Diana in a tale-like entry.

New Year seems a new start for the Rosie O'Donnell and Elizabeth Hasselbeck. The former View co-hosts make nice as O'Donnell sends Hasselbeck some gifts for her new baby.

"He's very, very cute. I saw him on TV, and I sent him a lovely gift, and [she and Hasselbeck] have been emailing each other. And peach prevails," the 45-year-old opinionated O'Donnell says.

Donald Trump vs. Rosie O'Donnell is still on. The Donald thinks the former The View host is bluffing when she said she's not going to watch the new season of The Apprentice.

"I think not," she says in her video blog.
