Rosario Dawson Loves The Single Life

Rosario Dawson loves being single.

The "Grindhouse" actress admits she is enjoying her freedom since splitting from her actor boyfriend Jason Lewis last year.

She told People magazine: "It's really good. I'm really kind of crazy and so busy, and everything, so it's nice to just be spending time with my friends and family and also not having to worry about, you know, calling in and doing the check-in. I'm not really good at that."

Rosario, 27, started dating Lewis, 35 - who played Samantha Jones' toyboy lover in "Sex and the City" - in 2004 and they made their first public appearance together in 2005.

"Grindhouse" is a two-movie horror feature presented back-to-back.

Dawson stars alongside Kurt Russell in the Quentin Tarantino-directed half, a slasher film called "Death Proof."

The other movie is a zombie film written and directed by Robert Rodriguez entitled "Planet Terror."
